18 direct connectionsMars Colony belongs on AwakenMap through the question of when the human desire to leave Earth becomes public plan, hidden military project or evacuation myth. Mars is a scientific destination, a technological promise and the perfect screen for a suspicion: if governments and companies openly plan life beyond Earth, did some classified version begin earlier?
The real basis is simple: Mars is the most explored planet by robots and the strongest symbolic candidate for a permanent human presence. NASA has shown evidence that it was wetter and potentially more habitable in the past. Rovers, orbiters and high-resolution cameras turned Mars from a red point in the sky into an almost familiar landscape.

The conspiracy did not come only from science. A major cultural origin is Alternative 3, broadcast by Anglia Television on June 20, 1977. It was a mockumentary about elites preparing three solutions to an Earth crisis: reduce population, build underground shelters or establish a secret route to the Moon and Mars. Fictional as it was, its documentary style seeded the idea that Mars could be the hidden plan B of those who control Earth.
After that, the story was absorbed by ufology and the Secret Space Program universe. A Mars colony became a military base, industrial facility, elite refuge, penal colony or mining operation. Some versions involve recruitment, abduction or compartmentalized programs. Others connect off-world service to 20 and back memories.
The conspiratorial layer intensifies when Mars stops being future and becomes a hidden past. The question changes from “will we colonize Mars?” to “has Mars already been colonized without us?” Claims then involve underground bases, advanced transport, portals, recovered technology, nonhuman cooperation, aerospace corporations and military factions beyond public oversight.
The most useful concrete case is not a public photo of a secret base, because such evidence does not exist; it is the persistence of testimony. Andrew Basiago claimed involvement in time travel and teleportation programs to Mars. Laura Eisenhower claimed she was targeted for recruitment into a Mars mission in 2006 and 2007. Corey Goode popularized accounts of hidden space service and age regression from 2015 onward. These claims are not accepted as scientific evidence, but they explain how the theme became a modern mythology of escape, recruitment and blocked memory.
The Face on Mars shows how imagery feeds the story. In 1976, Viking 1 photographed a Cydonia formation that looked like a face. Later higher-resolution images showed a natural landform, but the first impression became a symbol.

The mature reading separates public exploration, plausible future settlement and extraordinary claims of an existing hidden colony.
Simple summary
Mars Colony is the idea that humans could live on the Red Planet. In science and technology, it appears as a future project of exploration, habitat and survival beyond Earth. On AwakenMap, it also includes the conspiratorial version: secret bases, elite evacuation, the Secret Space Program, 20 and back, a Mars slave colony and claims of recruitment or erased memory.

Why it belongs on AwakenMap
The theme belongs on AwakenMap because Mars is where public space colonization and the hypothesis of a hidden program almost touch.
Awakening here means distinguishing possible future, technological propaganda, influential fiction and extraordinary claim.
